Trip 656: Hiking on an amazing Fall Trail in Jabal Moussa Reserve


This week event will be on Saturday instead of Sunday due to the Pope visit to Lebanon...

The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite to an amazing Fall weather hiking trip this Saturday 29 November 2025. The trail will be a very beautiful Fall weather trail between the colorful trees overlooking the gorgeous Valleys:

Hiking the Fall trail in Jabal Moussa Reserve

The trip will be divided into three levels:

  1. Easy to Medium Level (6 to 7/10): We will start at the Qehmez Entrance (1350 m) and finish at Mshati Entrance.
  2. Medium Level (7 to 8/10): We will start and finish at Qehmez Entrance.

The sceneries are un-describable...

The weather is gorgeous, even if it was raining...

Let us all escape from what we have towards nature...

In this season, the weather is always unstable especially in mountains. Thus make sure to get heavy jackets and other warm stuff with you in all the hikes.

 

 

الرحلة هذا الاسبوع ستكون السبت بدل الأحد بسبب زيارة البابا الى لبنان يوم الأحد...

رحلتنا لهذا الأحد 29 تشرين الثاني 2025، ستكون في واحدة من أجمل المناطق اللبنانية للمشي في الطبيعة وتحديداً:

مشي في الطبيعة في محمية جبل موسى

رحلتنا في هذا الفصل ستكون على درب جديد بين غابات شجر العذر والسنديان في محمية جبل موسى ذات المناخ والطبيعة الرائعة.

مستوى الرحلة سيكون مقسماً على ثلاثة أقسام:

  1. مستوى سهل الى متوسط:  نمشي من مدخل قهمز الى مدخل المشاتي.
  2. مستوى متوسط: نبدأ وننتهي عند مدخل قهمز.

الطقس في هذه الفترة من السنة متقلب كثيراً. لذا يجب على الجميع احضار الجاكيتات الدافئة وغيرها من الأشياء لتفادي البرد الموجود خصوصاً على الجبال.

Cost Fees

The trip's cost will be 25$, including:
  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Entrance fees to the Reserve

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Saturday 29 Nov, 2025 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
 We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Saturday 29 Nov, 2025 at 05:00 PM.

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

  • 05

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
