Trip 526: Apples Picking & Hiking in Akoura


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite this Sunday 27 September 2020 for an amaizng hiking trip on a new trail in the Apple Picking Season that will be:

Apples Picking & Hiking from Laqlouq to Akoura

We will start at an altitude of around 2200 meters from Saydet El-Qaren Church and head towards the Apple Fields of Akoura. We will enjoy the apple picking in the fields and try to help in picking apples from a field. We will enjoy during the hike the amazing views of Kartaba and Nahr Ibrahim Valley.

The hike will be of an Easy to Medium level (6 to 7/10).

We will head to the apples fields and enjoy apples picking after the hike.

That is not all. As a small reward, each adult will be able to take around 2 kilos of the picked apples.

Meeting is starting 7:00 AM facing the National Museum in Beirut (Met7af).

This trip is a great outing for families also. 

We will give you the option to go with us by cars or by bus (same fees). Note that we will apply strict safety precautions especially when going by bus.

رحلتنا لهذا الأحد 27 أيلول 2020، ستكون على درب رائع في موسم قطاف التفاح في واحدة من أجمل المناطق اللبنانية وتحديداً:

مشي في الطبيعة من اللقلوق الى العاقورة

رحلتنا ستكون في منطقة ذات المناخ والطبيعة الرائعة، بالإضافة الى العديد من حقول التفاح الموزعة على الدرب.

مستوى الرحلة سيكون مستوى سهل الى متوسط.

الرحلة ستبدأ من دير سيدة القرن في اللقلوق ونتوجه بعدها الى حقول التفاح في العاقورة.

نتوجه بعدها لقطف التفاح من أحد الحقول المجاورة، وسيكون لكل مشارك حوالي 2 كيلو تفاح.

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
