Trip 495: Hiking on the amazing Darb El-Donneyeh


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you on Sunday 22 September 2019, to a hiking trip in a splendid hidden nature in the Donneyeh Region, which will be on the new trail:

Hiking on "Darb El-Donneyeh"

The trip will be of an Easy to Medium level (6 to 7/10 with around 10 KMs), and shall take between 4 to 5 hours.

We will start our walk from the Sfeere Fortress at 1300 meters, passing thru the amazing places and forests of Donneyeh.  We will pass thru Roman Ruins on our way...

Don't forget your cameras in order not to miss the amazing views that we will have on the trail...

مشي في الطبيعة على "درب الضنية"

الرحلة ستكون بمستوى سهل الى متوسط وبمسافة حوالي 10 كلم.

رحلتنا ستبدأ من منطقة أعالي بلدة السفيرة، وبالتحديد من قلعة السفيرة على ارتفاع 1300 م بإتجاه غابات الضنية الرائعة.

سنمر على آثار رومانية خلال رحلتنا على الدرب...

Your personal insurance.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 35,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Cost of the local guide

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 7:00 AM...

We will start on Sunday 22 Sep, 2019 at 07:00 AM.
The bus will move at 07:35 AM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Sunday 22 Sep, 2019 at 08:00 PM.

    KNOW YOUR ABILITIES; CHOOSE AN APPROPRIATE HIKE.

    Be a Lightweight

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

  • 05

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
