Trip 491: Sunset Hiking in Shouf Reserve


The sunset view from the mountain is one of the best views that you can see... What if this was with the amazing view of the Bekaa Valley...
All this you can experience with the Footprints Nature Club this Saturday 24 August 2019 in an amazing hiking trip to the very beautiful nature of:
 
Sunset Hiking in Shouf Biosphere Reserve
 
Our walk will be of an Easy to Medium level (6 to 7/10). It shall take around 4 hours with around 9 KMs.
 
You have to bring a warm juacket and a torch with you for this trip.

مشي في وقت المغرب في محمية ارز الشوف

الرحلة ستكون بمستوى سهل الى متوسط وبمسافة حوالي 9 كلم.

يجب احضار مصباح للإضاءة وسترة (جاكيت) للتدفئة خلال الرحلة.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 40,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides
  • Entrance fees to Shouf Reserve

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 3:00 PM

We will start on Saturday 24 Aug, 2019 at 03:00 PM.
The bus will move at 03:35 PM.
We will not stop on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Saturday 24 Aug, 2019 at 11:00 PM.

Hikers' Tips

    KNOW YOUR ABILITIES; CHOOSE AN APPROPRIATE HIKE.

    Be a Lightweight

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

  • 05

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
