Trip 486: Sunset & Night Hiking in Jabal Kneiseh


The Footprints Nature Club would like to invite you all this Saturday 20 July 2019 to enjoy the Sunset in a hiking trip overlooking the Sea, Sannine Mountain, Barouk Mountains, and the Bekaa Valley:

Our walk will be of a Medium to Hard level (7 to 8/10). It shall take around 4 to 5 hours with around 16 KMs.
 
You have to bring a warm jacket and a torch with you for this trip.

مشي في وقت المغرب الى قمة جبل الكنيسة

الرحلة ستكون بمستوى متوسط إلى صعب وبمسافة حوالي 16 كلم.

يجب احضار مصباح للإضاءة وسترة (جاكيت) للتدفئة خلال الرحلة.

Must Have

Your personal insurance.

Cost Fees

Trip cost 35,000 L.L., includes:

  • Transportation from and back to Beirut
  • Cost of the guides

Gathering Place & Time

Our gathering will be at the traffic lights on the crossroad of the General Security building الأمن العام and El-Mathaf المتحف region in Beirut. You can park in the parking nearby starting 3:00 PM

We will start on Saturday 20 Jul, 2019 at 03:00 PM.
The bus will move at 03:35 PM.
We will stop for breakfast on the way. We might be obliged to do some modifications to the plans as needed during the trips.
We will finish on Saturday 20 Jul, 2019 at 11:00 PM.

Hikers' Tips

    KNOW YOUR ABILITIES; CHOOSE AN APPROPRIATE HIKE.

    Be a Lightweight

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

  • 04

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

  • 05

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
