Trip 473: Hiking in Ouyoun Samak


The Spring season is here, the rivers are running wild, prepare yourselves for our splendid Spring trips...

The trips in the Spring Season shall always be in special places... The Footprints Nature Club will gladly organize this Sunday 07 April 2019 the amazing hiking trip in one of the gorgeous places of Lebanon:

Hiking in Ouyoun Al-Samak - Jhannam Valley

Ouyoun Al-Samak and Wadi Jhannam are two of the most beautiful places to walk in Lebanon. That is why we won't say more about it, we will simply leave it for the photos to describe the place.

We will be hiking from the famous Lake of Ouyoun Samak all the way through the Valley of Jahannam. As we would like members of all potentials and levels to enjoy and see the beauty of this place, the Footprints Nature Club is the only club to give you the opportunity to enjoy this place with three different levels walking together:

  • Easy Level (4 to 5/10 – 7 KMs – 3 hours): The trail will start at an altitude of 300 meters and elevate easily to an altitude of 500 meters.
  • Easy to Medium Level (6/10 – 12 KMs – 4 hours): The trail will start at an altitude of 250 meters and elevate easily to an altitude of 500 meters.
  • Hard Level (8/10 - 15 KMs - 5 to 6 hours): We will do the previous trails and then go to a very steep uphill taking us from an altitude of 500 meters to 950 meters (Details in the Extreme Trip 1 Event).

مشي في الطبيعة في منطقة عيون السمك - وادي جهنم

المشي سيبدأ من بحيرة عيون السمك الرائعة داخل وادي جهنم في رحلة من ثلاثة مستويات:

  • مستوى سهل: حوالي 7 كلم بوقت حوالي 3 ساعات.
  • مستوى سهل الى متوسط: حوالي 11 كلم بوقت حوالي 4 الى 5 ساعات.
  • مستوى صعب: حوالي 15 كلم بوقت من 5 إلى 6 ساعات.

    THE LESS YOU CARRY, THE MORE ENJOYABLE THE HIKE.

    Avoid Huffing and Puffing

    IF YOU CAN TALK WHILE YOU ARE WALKING, YOU ARE WALKING THE PERFECT SPEED.

    Take a Break

    TAKE A TEN MINUTE BREAK AT LEAST ONCE EVERY HOUR.

    No Food, No Fuel, No Fun

    DRINK FREQUENTLY AND EAT OFTEN.
